The Lastra Sixteen-Piece Place Setting is an excellent starter kit, featuring 4 European dinner plates, 4 salad plates, 4 pasta bowls, and 4 cereal bowls, all handcrafted from durable Italian stoneware.
Inspired by the circular wooden slabs used for centuries in Italian cheesemaking, Lastra’s design reflects the art of tradition. The slightly overlapping detail, reminiscent of the twine used to shape cheese molds, is skillfully incorporated into each piece by maestro molder Stefano Roselli.
A subtle dark dusting on the edges evokes the ash used in preservation, enhancing the unique silhouette of each item.
