Beatriz Ball just has a different set of standards. Different in that they start with her first. That’s right, Beatriz Ball the person. You can call her an award-winning designer, a female entrepreneur & pioneer, a lifestyle brandbuilder. All true. But in her heart, she’s an entertainer. Not that kind. She understands what it takes to entertain guests in your home. In style. She understands everything from crudités to amuse-bouche to charcuterie. But she’s not above a stunning chip & dip either. She understands that it’s your home. Your guests. And your style. And she’s here to help. One piece at a time.
Beatriz Ball Vida Bamboo Collection
Everything in the Vida Bamboo Collection is the result of a collaboration with noted illustrator, August Wren. Each piece has a natural wood bamboo reed (also known as culm) inspired rim and a brilliant white surface. The Vida Bamboo collection is appropriately suited for outdoor use, like all of her melamine products. This is a full collection of dinner plates, salad plates, chargers and universal salad/soup/cereal bowls. Rounding out the collection is a generously-sized unique double dip server, an oval and round serving platter and a very large salad bowl with accompanying salad servers.
Beatriz Ball Vida Charleston Collection
The Vida Charleston pieces are a contemporary twist on a serveware classic archetype. In contrast to most of her other lines, the Charleston style is clean lined, rectilinear and structured. They almost resemble wooden door panels or coffered ceiling tiles with a thin delicate clean trim. This collection is limited and comes in two large rectangular platters, a medium sized square platter and a similarly sized deep salad bowl with salad servers. All pure white, notched corners and a lively dappled surface that resembles the look of fine ceramics.
Beatriz Ball Vida Alegria Collection
This collection is arguably the most organic design of Beatriz Ball’s portfolio. The Vida Alegria collection has a similar dappled surface as some of her other masterpieces. But Alegria is finished with a pinched pearl rope for a rim on every piece. And we say pinched because that is exactly what it looks like. A wavy imperfect rim that was sculpted by hand one piece at a time and retains that character. It has an 11” dinner plate and the 9” salad plate. It also has universal soup, salad & cereal bowls and a larger salad bowl. But the highlights of the Vida Alegria collection are the 14” lazy susan, the 14” pedestal cake plate that stands over 4” tall and the triple tiered server.
